Mitchell's Plain Office Volunteer

My name is Shermonay Donelley and I’m 21 years old. As any young person my age, I found myself job hunting to pay the bills. A close friend then told me about the Volunteer Centre, Mitchell’s Plain and how I can fill the hours between job hunting. I went to the office to find out more and when I found myself, I was volunteering at the office. I work very closely with Aunty Shahida. I can honestly say that I learn something new everyday.

His first volunteer tasks were at Lentegeur Hospital and he still volunteers at the Volunteer Centre Mitchell’s Plain satellite office.  This was where he found out about the 9 month volunteer program to Poland presented by International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE).
